He has 20+ years of experience accelerating revenue, growth and profitability with an “end-to-end” approach focused on strategy, innovation and digital transformation.
A Strong Track Record
Neil recently served as Managing Director, Head of Transformation for BNP Paribas in the Americas ($6 billion platform with 14,000+ employees) where he managed a P&L and built from scratch a 60 person strategy & transformation “firm within a firm” that delivered significant annual value creation. Neil designed and led successful large scale digital and strategic planning programs. He created innovative new operating models (products, services, customer experiences) and digitized core business and functional areas. Neil also started a leadership academy that trained dozens of teams. Neil’s passion for mentoring and developing talent and inspiring them to drive change created a critical talent pipeline that seeded teams across the bank.
Prior to BNP Paribas, Neil worked at JP Morgan where he built strategy & digital transformation capabilities. He led teams on global engagements in the consumer segments of the bank to transform the mortgage division in a time of crisis, redesign and digitize contact centers and streamline the firm’s “know your customer” process that helped avoid further regulatory fines and scrutiny.
Neil started his consulting career with McKinsey & Company where he worked on corporate strategy, innovation & transformation. He led engagements for Fortune 500 companies designing and launching new products and services, incubating a $100 million new business inside a corporation and delivering pricing and growth initiatives. He worked with private equity firms on operational and efficiency projects to dramatically lower SG&A costs, optimize supply chains and procurement processes, and improve capital productivity.
Neil holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting and Managerial & Organizational Behavior from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he received the institution’s most prestigious fellowship (“Distinguished Fellows”) that included a full tuition merit scholarship, stipend and special leadership curriculum. He has a BA in Economics from Brown University and is a Lean Six Sigma certified Master Black Belt.
